I had the privilege of seeing this show as a part of More Real Life Stories festival in Newburyport, MA. The honesty in this show is profound, the love and understanding touching, and the message is clear. It's funny in all the right places with an underlying seriousness that adds a realism to the couple. This show does what all great 10-minutes do, it bring you in fast, holds you in rapt attention, and leaves you wanting for more. So well done.

Tense, trapped, & psychological, STOCKHOLM OR... is a quick journey through the mind of a captive overcoming fear and loss. This quick play works on many levels and offers an interesting opportunity at light and staging in production. Once again, just as viable on stage as it would be in audio, Christopher Plumridge's writing exceeds in creating a versatile story that sets the scene and character with immediacy. So well done.

What a great monologue about the miracle of restorative technology mixed with the revenge fantasies of the bullied. MY HIRED HAND is a child's excitement over the power of prosthetics and overcoming the cruelty of childhood. What a fantastic piece that would work equally well on stage, audio, or as an audition piece. So well done.

  • The One That Got Away

A beautiful little show about love, loss, and regret, Matthew Weaver's THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY is a sweet and desperate longing to change the nexus points of happiness in our own story. This show is beautifully written and is as much poetry as it is a play. It's a real gem.

Wine-influenced conversations are the most enjoyable, just like this show. The reasonings, assumptions, and the logic of the artistic really shine in this show. Like the playwright says, you have had this conversation before, though topics may vary. The quick wit and naturalistic dialog is a real gift to actors and the ease of production is a gift to producers. I really enjoyed this.

What a fantastic dark comedy. This short play runs the gamut from light hearted laughter to true dread. It's short, sweet, and offers a real scare. So good.

You can feel the tension of eighteen years in isolation disappear as Gerald finally emerges back into the world full of hope for the life he left behind. In a few short words Radtke has us cheering him on, identifying with his initial surrender to the fear that we've all experienced in the decades since the turn of the century. Gerald is escaping and we're escaping along with him. Wonderful.

So much in one minute for this powerful show. PLEASE, DON'T GO moves at the speed of life-short, fast, final. Wow.

THE REPLACEMENT approaches a dark topic with touching humor and does so wonderfully. There is a timelessness to this timely show. There is too much hatred, too much fear, too many "Cliffords" in this world. This show is the perfect start to dealing with them. So well done.
