A play full of humor as well as sharply drawn characters, highly recommended.

Another terrific play by a playwright who truly understands what motivates and what petrifies her characters— characters that in one guise or another, we have all met somewhere in our real lives.

    I do think I remember my mother more than once warning "better stop playing that game before someone gets hurt" --- but no such parents nearby for the college students engaged in a can-you-top-this game of secret-sharing and storytelling. A sometimes crude, always funny, slightly brutal take on what it means to tell the truth, and which truth we choose to tell, by a very talented playwright.

    Got to see this play on the Chicago leg of its journey, and it prompted so many conversations afterwards about fantasies turned upside down and inside out, and about violence and what it poisons. All done in a very non-traditional way by Donna Hoke -- (as sad as it is to say that there even is a "traditional way" to tell the story of violence against women)
