This is a retelling of the Princess and the Frog presented as a modern dating show that pokes at the generational divide with charm and silliness. Rutkowski's choice to decenter humans makes for an equitable approach to character work for any young theatre group looking for a new short play.

This play is fantastic! Think about your favorite play written by your favorite playwright… now forget it! Because this play is better! This is a play that really digs into ambition, and what is at stake when a person decides success is more important than being true to themselves. Strafford is masterful at using humor to make heartbreak something close to palatable. This play will stick with you long after you’ve finished it. Produce this play!

Chilling to the bone! McVay is a master of creating a world that makes the audience feel off kilter. There’s an eeriness that pervades her plays in a way that could make your skin crawl if she wasn’t in such control of her message. The relationships of her characters are soul of the play. Not for the faint of heart nor the fragile cis male ego. Read and produce this play!

This play is razor sharp. Whidden's sardonic voice is on full display as he lays out the horrifying stats, and tolls of war in a piece so dense in its brevity that you don't even see a punchline coming before it's done knocked you on your ass.
