  • Bathsheba's Psalms, Or A Woman of Unusual Beauty Taking A Bath

I was fortunate enough to be an actor in a staged reading and workshop of this play at the University of Central Florida in 2018, and I cherish the time I got to spend with it. Working with April was a dream, and the glass ceilings shattered through the telling of this story from Bathsheba's point of view make a mosaic of femininity that is both heartfelt and sad. From the witty dialogue to the humor to the poetry, this play is an experience, and should not be missed.

"#GodHatesYou" brilliantly utilizes social media and modern politics to tackle ancient arguments had by fanatics of all belief systems. The themes of empathy and honesty make this play shine, as we find ourselves rooting for a character who we initially have zero tolerance for in the play's beginning. Intriguing and thought provoking, Dendinger offers a necessary piece of literature that deserves to be well-known.
