FATHER DOMINIC, the protagonist, brings us on his journey as he remembers the tragic shootings of both his Aunt and a beloved parishioner. Audiences of all ages will relate to the acts of using rituals and prayer to heal pain.

ROB, the priest, finds meaning in the death of his mentor/priest LARRY (a practical joker) by hearkening back to the relationship between JESUS and LAZARUS. ROB allows his vulnerability to show as he grapples with tragedy. This is a most moving, and humanizing monologue.

Waterfall reminds us of how precious and fleeting life is. I felt viscerally how much the main character, "FRIEND" missed Emilio Hoffman whose life was cut tragically short during the Reynolds High School shooting of 2014. Slicing An Onion is a rivetingly, heartbreaking yet hopeful piece. PRIA KAUR, is a strong and sympathetic character. PRIA's story is sadly universal, as gun violence can affect anyone no matter, their gender, age or race. Hank Kimmel's "An Answer To Their Prayers," aptly addresses the universal longing we all have to connect. The interplay of dialogue, and soliloquy humorously and poignantly unfolds as two people discover that they are kindred spirits. I was left rooting for this couple and wanting to learn more. This versatile short play, while set in a synagogue, may be adapted to any liturgical setting,

Sentences and Words pulled me in right off the bat. The pain and anguish of both characters: defense attorney Karla in seeking mercy for her murderous client, and Maggie the victim's bereaved mother is visceral and palpable. With an economy of words Cindy Cooper gets these two women from opposite ends of the spectrum to come to a surprising mutual understanding.
