Weaver delivers a believable first kiss memory and lots of playing room for physical comedy for the actors! A perfect play for any one-minute play festival!

  • Vivian Lermond: A House by the Side of the Road

I'm totally in love with Clyde! This play paints a beautiful, nostalgic portrait of father/son (and sibling brother) relationships and puts us in center field to enjoy a wonderful vignette of a simpler time in a bygone era (loved the Sandy Kofax reference). A HOUSE BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD is wonderfully real. Not every guy that comes up to bat can hit a home run, but you just did, Philip Middleton Williams!

  • Vivian Lermond: No Tavern for Young Men

A different kind of Halloween tale well told! Savage captures the essence of three teen trick-or-treaters on their last Halloween outing. Believable dialogue and regional dialect adds to the fullness of the characters. But there is more to the story than just laughs. Joey, the 20-something character, gives these kids a bit of wisdom that might just come in handy as they make the transition from boy to man.

  • Vivian Lermond: Pizza Rolls and Politics

There is more to the story than politics and pizza rolls. Zaffarano delivers a conflict-driven, believable script that captures the essence of the generational gap between parent and child and the resulting frustration of failing to bridge the great divide. A wonderful play, relevant to our times!

  • Vivian Lermond: The Jar

Believable characters make a story, and the Bailey and Trip duo does just that, taking us on a ride through the staleness of partner complacency into the promise of a little spice. A well-structured, engaging short play, bound to appeal to any audience!

  • Vivian Lermond: Bicycle to Beijing

A fast, frolicking play that drives home the adage that the past can come back to haunt you ... unless of course, karma kicks in and changes everything. Enjoyed the read!

  • Vivian Lermond: BUT I MAKE NO PROMISES

Kelly delivers a wonderful father/son short drama, full of surprises, conflict, and fast-paced dialogue, with enough subtext to satisfy an actor's pallette. BUT I MAKE NO PROMISES offers a believable storyline about forgiveness, starting over and second chances.
