A wonderful, several layers deep monologue for an older actor! Martineau succinctly weaves the theme of confession with flashback memories that make this dying character so alive. Believable storytelling!
  • Waiting for the Day

Savage deftly captures the atmosphere of a bygone era that speaks to the theme that history repeats itself. A different pandemic, a different war, but the writer gives us a real sense of loss and grief that is timeless. But through the lens of the central characters, we are gifted with the hope that someday, the world will find a way to heal and become a better place. A thoughtful, poignant play!

A clever, fun and quirky "ghost" story that captures the voices of two 80's sisters returning to their old world of human time and having a chance to make a difference. Loved Jennifer's opening monologue and the "real life" sibling quibbling! Thanks for taking us on such a fun adventure!

Memories can be manipulated, and COME FIND ME proves that through the twists and turns of the story line, fast-faced dynamic dialogue, lots of subtext for actors, and non-stop conflict. One gem of a one-act!

  • The Devils' Spawn
    4 Mar. 2023
I was fortunate to hear this performed on the radio. Miller not only wrote a wonderfully nuanced, well-structured monologue, but she delivered it on air and her acting chops served her well. THE DEVIL'S SPAWN deserves a slot in any monologue festival. Vibrant, alive and very real!
