One of the things that I love the most about MGP is that it uses the light of magical girls to show the shadows of the world itself. Kuperschmid utilizes the extreme distance in relationships to demonstrate ideological differences and where our own beliefs stop us.
And also there is a lil monster friend.

Guilt is a powerful weapon. Proctor skillfully adapts the early chapters of Exodus to create a piece that opens up these biblical figures and showcases their deepest feelings out on stage for the world to enjoy.

The hardest thing about love is when you believe it to be unreciprocated. Proctor weaves together a beautiful modern love story who's second act forces the characters to come to terms with the thoughts they have been keeping from one another. This story is one I love with my whole heart. You should absolutely read it.

Live forever? Proctor's insightful short play tackles the idea with a sweet blend of anachronism and comedy. Highly recommend!!!

Kirkman asks questions that most others are afraid of. This is a brilliant example, asking who's at fault when your culture allows one thing but societal norms don't. This piece is inquisitive, funny, and an absolute good time.

push. demonstrates that divorce is difficult. Well, not just that. That would be too easy. push. puts it's actors into a vulnerable position that requires them to be willing to be open and honest. Kirkman excels in this area and push. proves this, Mom and Dad are being asked to do the hardest thing, work together. And my God is it beautiful to watch this happen.

This is such a beautifully executed piece. Especially perfect for small high school theatre programs looking to tell a strong story.

Absurdity and the Bible are Proctor's bread and butter. Making this toasty play a damn meal (with strong female leads and a lovable B plot!) I recommend this to everyone looking for an interesting Epic for their reading.

An absolutely beautiful build to a climax that was incredibly unexpected. It also helps to mention that this is one of my favorite Bible tales.
Everyone should read this. Asap.

Kirkman has encapsulated the strains of relationships so perfectly in juice. The horror that follows the characters throughout the piece is so jarring that I couldn't put the script down. So much is implied with so little words that any actor would be lucky to be either Blue or Green.
