The Bramford is an experimental, dramedy adaptation of Rosemary's Baby and explores the intersection of three women in one apartment: Gloria, Betty, and Rosemary. Gloria after suffering a miscarriage must find the courage to leave a controlling relationship. Her new friend, Betty, believes that Gloria cannot be satisfied as a housewife and encourages Gloria’s independence. Through reading the novel Rosemary’s Baby, both Gloria and Betty find new interpretations of the work. As the story is told, the characters of the novel -- Rosemary, Guy, and Satan -- come to life. Characters are loosely inspired by Gloria Steinman and Betty Friedman, along with the 1960s women's movement.
