This play made me full-on sob. Reading it feels like when you really need a hug and you FINALLY get one. I've been pursuing an autism diagnosis and saw myself SO much in Stephanie. This is such an important play for queer femme's who are or think they might be autistic. I can't say enough how much this little play meant to me. I can't wait to cover it on my podcast, "Play-Mates"!

Such a delightfully funny, zippy, and heartfelt work. We hardly ever see this genre on stage, and Jordan's approach to it is thoughtful and quietly revolutionary. I quickly fell in love with these characters, no questions needed! I think this would be perfect for college students to perform :) What a lovely play, and what a lovely playwright!

A stunning play that breaks form in ways that make my heart sing. The themes of gender politics and how they tie into harmful systems in the setting of a post-climate change ravaged America is haunting and amazingly well done. To learn more listen to my podcast on this play :) (Play-Mates: Find Your New Favorite Play!)

This play is poignant, funny as hell, and so relatable to the young queer experience. As a bisexual woman, I was elated at the conversations around queerness that felt like the same ones I had just a few years ago in college. I also loved this sense of mystery, of not knowing what is real, and that maybe we can create our own reality. Love love love this play. If you want to know more, tune into Play-Mates podcast, where I'm analyzing this play on April 9, 2021 :)

I read this play and interviewed Amy about it for my podcast (Play-Mates: Find Your New Favorite Play!) and it is such an insightful look into climate change, sibling dynamics, and the fight between saving our planet or colonizing others. So moving, and definitely inspires the audience to do their own research on space exploration and climate change!

This play is the perfect example of an artistic work that is heartbreaking and includes genuine and well rounded characters while speaking up about this epidemic of violence at the same time. It's not telling you what to think in any way--but it paints a clear picture about what this kind of violence does not only to society at large, but to the people closest to the "blast". I also love that there are three very nuanced roles for women over thirty! I will be covering it on ep 6 of my podcast, "Play-Mates"!

I covered this play on my podcast, "Play-Mates: Find Your New Favorite Play!" last Friday. I absolutely ADORE it. As a disabled queer woman, this play is like a light in the dark. Gwynn reshapes the typical selkie myth into a hymn to queer and disabled femmes everywhere. A must read.
