An exceptional mosaic of the Millenial Working Class; excruciating in its honesty, lush in its poetry, and GREAT characters. I really love this play: someone please please please produce it!!!
  • Blue Eyes

BLUE EYES is a riveting and sincere exploration of legacy and queerness. Jacob employs a majestic plasticity infused with all of the dignity and wonders you could possibly muster. A brilliant, intoxicating portrait of three folks caught in a moment of great discovery. I could not recommend this play more.
  • SHRINES

An aching, vivid meditation on the nature of grief in the modern age. This play allows for the characters to dig deep into the roots of their hurt and all the many entanglements that follow. The relationships are vibrant, sometimes messy, and full of idiosyncratic complexities that make this a riveting piece.
  • Heroes of the Fourth Turning
    26 Mar. 2020
An exceptional portrait of modern Intellectual Conservatism penned with a masterful hand. Arbery presents honesty in such a way that feels off-putting until you realize that which with its reverberating are your own biases and questions. A script that defies possibility in the theatre, and thus makes it all the more necessary.

The Play of the Moment, one we’ll be telling future theatre makers where we were when we first saw it or read its mighty text. Everyone should do whatever they can to get their hands on a copy of this play. Exceptional
  • FRIENDS WITH GUNS
    16 Mar. 2020
An expertly crafted exploration into a complicated issue. Never felt overdramatic, but rather this plays leans into the truth on both sides of the debate regarding gun violence, the right to protect one’s self, and other issues that I won’t list out of potential SPOILERS. What an ending. One of the best endings to a play I’ve read in a while. A perfect play for the moment we are in now, where we constantly must engage with the question: What is the Right to Life?

    Produce this play!!!
  • I Build Giants

Ryan crafts an engaging story about how best intentions and possibilities can be corrupted by the nature of Capitalism, Opportunity, and Violence. Ryan avoids the tropes of science fiction movies and instead focuses on the very human choices that affect our role in accordance with the possibility of technological advancement. This play is perfect for Womxn in need of Monologues and for Theaters in search of questions around ethical approaches to our (eventual) symbiosis with integrated technology.

Subtle, never once over-dramatic, and supported by a lush soundscape, Madeline takes another leap forward in her ability to craft complex and rich characters in confined places. Madeline has crafted an excellent ten minute play (perfect for scene studies for high schoolers and young collegiate actors alike) that also provokes important questions about violence against women and how we - as artists - portray that violence on stage.
  • High School Coven
    2 Aug. 2019
HIGH SCHOOL COVEN is perfect for young womxn actors and audiences of all genders, creeds, and otherwise definable traits. Full of heart, horror, and sisterhood, Kaela is exceptional at luring you in with her bouncy, vibrant dialogue and then she rips the curtains from the mechanism, turning the tide of events over to the will of the audience. How will YOU respond to the battle cries of the oppressed? Exceptional, necessary, and vibrant, this is a different kind of Witches story for a society that desperately needs to hear it.
  • Loud Louder
    24 Jul. 2019
LOUD LOUDER is an enrapturing look at the fabric of choice and opportunity. Never pretentious, Madeline explores the complexities of influences while building a narrative for the question what does it mean when success is no longer imminent: that moment when we as artists must explore the reality and complexity of our lives and choices alone. Wonderful.
  • Gershwin's Last Ride
    19 Jul. 2019
Powerful, emotional, and vibrantly funny, this play is soooo much more than bull-riding and rodeos, but explores masculinity, power, and friendship in a way that blends the Wildly Theatrical moments with its searing emotional core. This is my favorite Ten minute play I've ever read and wish everyone would produce this or give Ryan thousands of dollars to explore this in a 90 minute piece. READ THIS PLAY.
