A witty piece that offers thought-provoking impulses regarding the behaviour of monolinguists towards people whose mother tongue isn't English. It sparks a conversation about the leverage of compliments related to language (speaking) skills which can come across as insulting and contemptuous. This choreopoem is not only well thought-out but also astute and deserves more attention!

This masterpiece feels like a gut punch while offering a hopeful ending. The story circles around racism and the Black Lives Matter movement with various small reflections by the different characters upon that including the question who shows racist behaviours and who doesn't. Reading it, the script creates a very visual and concrete picture of the story. A small cast that is more than enough for this extraordinary story!
