Nick Krentel is an openly gay playwright who loves to dive deep into the absurd, surreal, fantastical, and horrific. Born in Mobile, AL, he has lived in various states all over the coastal south, but he currently resides in Irvine, CA where he recently completed his Bachelors of Arts in Drama at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts with a minor in Film & Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine's School of Humanities. Favorite topics of exploration include familial dynamics, queer issues, mental health, fairy tales and myths, film and television history, the theatrical artform, and horror. He is also the proud father of a chinchilla named Bernard, a black cat named Gelato, and a dachshund-terrier mix named Chundo.
