Stories are all around us, and, for as long as I can recall, I've identified as a storyteller. As a young child I could never find the books and stories I wanted to read so, I wrote them myself. This is still my philosophy to this day. Storytelling for me is a personal expression... so I write. I write to see the stories I want to see in the world-- trying to make sense or find comfort in the chaos of everyday life. And if my plays can help someone experience the same thing, then I'm happy as a proverbial clam.
