Since her first play was chosen for production by Dale Wasserman (MAN OF LAMANCHA) at the Midwest Playwrights Lab, with actor/playwright Larry Shue (THE FOREIGNER) in the lead, she has written over forty plays which have been performed throughout the United States. Her play, "Prairie" was commissioned by the Old Opera House Players of Dell Rapids, South Dakota and later produced by the Columbia Entertainment Company in Columbia, Missouri and at Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. Her full length play, "Cupboards," won the Towngate Theater national competition and was produced in Wheeling, West Virginia. She has received writing residencies to the Wurlitzer Foundation, Hawthornden International Writer’s Retreat in Scotland, Dorset Colony House, and the Millay Colony. She is a graduate of The University of Evansville (IN) and The University of Wisconsin. She is a member of The Dramatists Guild, the Minneapolis Playwrights’ Center and Chicago Dramatists.
