I have spent most of my adult life as a playwright and teaching playwriting and dramatic literature. As a playwright, I have devoted much of my writing to creating plays which reveal aspects of women's lives through strong roles for female actresses. Because my ethnic background is German and Danish and my husband survived WWII Belgrade Yugoslavia as a child, I have taken a great deal of interest in WWII and the role of those who may have been like my ancestors in the development of that war. I am currently retired but continue to write and pursue productions for my work.
