Thomas Underdal's (he/him) work spans the roles of writer, historian, and dramaturg centering on creative and generative new work methodologies with community and environmental justices developing pedagogies and dramaturgies for the current and future ecological realities. Thomas holds an MFA in Theatre for Youth and Community from Arizona State University (ASU). He is also the current Play Works Coordinator for AZ Thespians.
His work includes The Boy Who Planted Seeds (2025 Workshop Childplay, ASU Reading), Kingdom (2025 Childsplay Academy, 2023 ASU TheatreLab), fairy tale girls (2024 ASU Theatre Lab). Thomas also produced an Earth Day Celebration in 2023 featuring two new play premieres, The Isle of Beasts and The Girl and the Mountain.
