After thoroughly enjoying MELT, I was simply delighted to discover MELT: A NEW SCOOP. Even with having some insight to where we might be going, the shock and laughter combination in this alternate version was plenty of fun! And let's add in an "awwww" for the craziness that is must be love.

Poetic and haunting, BLACK BEAR ISLAND is a dark thriller that plays with relationship, memory, and suspense. With excellent opportunities for creative staging, this rich story remains captivating through every scene.

Small-town, Midwest feels with high-intensity build, TRAGEDY SOUND takes us on a dangerous voyage with strong female characters guiding the way. Saari gives the creative teams of actors and designers fabulous opportunities at theatricality in bringing this show to the stage.

Well, that was fabulous! High energy, well-directed audience participation, and a ghost story all wrapped up together. Cheers to this fun, interactive play that would be great for any theatre to jump into.

I've had the delightful experience of witnessing SMART GIRLS in person on two occasions and it continues to enchant and amuse me! A brilliant perspective of life from the AI characters of Siri, Alexa, and Cortana, Schumacher gives us a twist on the human reliance and interaction of advanced technology in everyday life. Not only are they always listening, but they have plenty to say!

An excellently written faith-based, period-piece that resonates to today. Following a blind woman poet in the time of Cholera, Monica Cross weaves a story of Christian faith, poetry, song, and purpose. As a writer and as a covid nurse, I appreciate the work of Cross in creating this staged biography. TO GOD BE THE GLORY gives the audience moments of quiet contemplation: "Sometimes when we ask the question “Am I doing enough?” we should really be asking the question “Am I doing the right thing for this moment?” "

Oh, my heart. A beautiful and moving piece that shares the bond of three Jewish sisters, the ways we journey through grief, and how we remember our loved ones. With the remembrance of 9/11 and Holocaust, and the engaging and real connection of these sisters, the audience is certain to be captivated by the lyrical writing and depth of relationship in this play.

An excellent adaptation of a classic story, enlivening the stage with adventure, science fiction, and female perspectives. Poynton breathes modern meaning into Verne's undersea tale, exploring the struggles of justice and freedom, the challenges of classism, colonialism, and gender inequalities, and the limits and definitions we live by. The movement and adventure quality would play out beautifully on a stage through the top-ship scenes, underwater exploration, and battle sequences. This would be a fantastic opportunity for college theatre programs for creative artistry, female leads and diversity in casting, and discussion.

Ahhh! A fabulous, twisty, relationship horror piece that is certain to serve up a delightful mix of laughter and shock to any audience! MELT brings relatable characters, fun circumstances, and a chilling twist to the stage. I dare you not to think of it the next time you hear an ice cream truck...

As a sci-fi fan, I was immediately invested from the engaging opening monologue. From there, the audience is taken on a reflective path considering grief, priorities, and timing. Pulling on the heart-strings, CLOCKWORK provides poignancy wrapped in the intrigue of science fiction.
