  • Robert Mattson: Just The Same As You and Me

This is a great 2-minute play. Not a skit, a play with a strong beginning, middle, and end. It uses a character for which almost everyone knows the backstory so doesn't have to waste time. The ending is a wonderful twist that will leave the audience thinking. The ending is thoughtful and impactful. Bravo!

  • Robert Mattson: NICKY: A FAST-FOOD WORKER MONOLOGUE

As good as the message, content, and language are in this monologue, in my opinion, it's all about the rhythm. Asher has written in the tempo and flow for the performer. The build from tentative opening to bull-rush ending. The language is musical in its starts, stops, and build to urgency. This is a powerful piece that speaks from the heart and deserves to be heard by many, many, many audiences.

  • Robert Mattson: COLLEEN'S OUTER DEMON

OK! I freakin' loved this script! I really wish I wrote it. Like most great 10-minute scripts it's based on a really creative idea that Adam Richter then fleshed out into a wonderfully tight story that anyone can quickly identify with. Plus, the second I read "princess in Florin channel," I knew that I was going to love this gentleman's style. Read it! Produce it! Get this darn thing on stage!!!

  • Robert Mattson: FORTUNATE FAILURE (MONOLOGUE)

A lovely monologue that proves that even when one looks for sadness that hope, positivity, and dare I say it, love is still likely to find you.

  • Robert Mattson: A 3-act, centuries-long love affair (abridged)

It's not easy to condense 300 years, immortal love, and real-life pettiness into 1-page, but John Mabey does it beautifully in his one-sheet vampire love play. A really fun read!

  • Robert Mattson: Erase (a monologue)

This tight little monologue is a great example of the economy of brilliance or the brilliance of economy. Either way, it's short and it's good.
