My debut full-length play, "Baby Steps" made it into the FINAL ROUND OF SELECTIONS FOR THE 2017 NYC WOMEN'S WORK FEST (Off-Broadway) and had two public readings: August 1, 2016 at Holmdel Theatre Company and February 16, 2017 in New Brunswick, NJ - featuring Two-Time Tony-nominee Mary Testa.

In addition to my plays (which I write solo), I also write feature film scripts with a partner, Michele Giannusa.
Our most recent script, "Miss Christmas Daisy" was named a 2017 PAGE AWARD FINALIST in the Family Film Category and an Official Selection in the 2016 International Family Film Festival.

I also work part-time as a greeting card writer/editor for Designer Greetings in Edison, NJ.

Just days before her wedding, Sophia's life is turned upside-down when her friend, Megan, uncovers a major secret. An unconventional romantic comedy with a few big shocks, this play proves there's more to love than meets the eye.
  • Baby Steps
After down-and-out hypochondriac Eva Russo drunkenly offers to be a surrogate mother for her infertile sister, she meets a pushy angel whose assignment is to help her get her life together before her upcoming 30th birthday.

Grabbed me right from the start with Juliet's angry, honest, funny dialogue. Filled with truths (some of the divorce talk is almost exactly what a friend of mine experienced when she was going through it -"there's nowhere that's mine anymore.") But even with the important subject matter, the play did not feel heavy. The element of the forest added something extra to a piece, revealing to me, symbolism of "what's real/not " -- dementia, as well as "escape/unknown" -- Juliet's relationship with Andrew. Small and moves quickly - seems like it would be a great choice for production.

Compelling story. Really well-developed characters with distinct voices. Very smart. Side note: I had to laugh at the edamame because my husband's friend did that at a restaurant once and I was so freaked out. I even questioned him about it but he continued to eat the whole thing - including the outer shells! I bet his stomach hurt later...

Really enjoyed this play. Very realistic dialogue and characters. I found myself getting angry at certain moments, which proved I was truly invested in the story! Lots of funny moments, even laughed out loud a few times. Timely as well, leaves you with a lot to think about.
