Ariel Zetina is a Chicago based artist, focusing in electronic music production, deejaying, and writing. Plays include Pink Milk, a magic tragedy based on the life of Alan Turing (Single Carrot Theatre 2019, Garage Theatre 2016, Oracle Theatre 2014, NY Fringe 2012); British Honduras Fantasy, a semi autobiographical story of Frida, a young trans girl who journeys from Florida to Chicago, mirroring her mother's journey from Belize to the States (Trans Theatre Fest, Brooklyn 2019); Mechanisms of Fidelity, a Lorca inspired dissection of monogamy and non monogamy (developed at Sideshow Theatre Company, 2017); and most recently House of Audacity, a retelling of Mother Courage reinterpreted as a trans drag family moving to a small town to make money traveling after their wig store is gentrified (developed at First Floor Theatre, 2021)

Ariel’s music she produces music can be considered techno,she takes inspiration from Chicago house, Belizean punta, and the queer club scene worldwide. These influences can be heard on 2020’s “MUAs at the End of the World” EP (Femme Culture); and "Marsh" (self released); 2019’s "Organism" (Majía); “Shell” (Head Charge); and 2017’s “Cyst” (Boukan Records), and on her upcoming album “Cyclorama” on UK label Local Action. Her DJs sets have been heard worldwide. She is a resident at the legendary house club Smartbar, one of the longest standing clubs devoted to house music in the US. She co runs the party/mix series Rumors, and is represented by Discwoman, an agency that works with women and non-binary deejays working cross genre
