Samantha Vargas (she/her/ella) is a playwright, dramaturg, actor, and director from the Inland Empire of California. She holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Southern California. Her play Virgin Creek was produced in March 2022 by the ART/EMIS Company at USC.

    TEN MINUTE: Two lovers, Eufémia and Montse, meet in a secluded garden in the aftermath of an anarchist attack on members of nobility. While the two share a desire for equality amongst their people, it becomes clear that they differ in their actions and a wedge begins to form in their relationship.

The two visit landmarks of their past lives, telling stories, and asking questions that they hope the town offers answers to.
