Best Friends/Worst Partners is a play about friendship, love, and codependency. John and Lana have been together since high school, and they do everything with their best friends: Joseph, who is desperately looking for a partner, Kylie, who desperately loves her friends and her wife Elizabeth, who is the life of the party and the best friend anybody could ask for, and Hank, the quiet, friendly soul who recently started dating Stephanie. When sparks fly between a newcomer and one of our friends, Ben, a bartender, witnesses something he'd rather not see. When Ben begins dating Joseph and starts piecing things together, a torrid secret threatens to tear the group, and their relationships, apart. This play calls for a cast of 4m, 4f, and a minimalist set.
