  • The Lesbian Play

This disturbing albeit personal play shines in its biting and satirical look at the height of the Tumblr age and collides identity politics, liberalism, and the dawn of the Trump era like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. This is a play that knows its audience and provides a lot of important representation for young trans and BIPOC college students to sink their teeth into. The conversations feel ripped right out of a PWI's hallways. Produce this play!

This absolutely whimsical and gorgeous Coney Island fantasy intermingled with biting realism is one of Femia's best. The dialogue is the star to me; snappy but truthful and unapologetic and brave. Upsetting but optimistic. I love this play.
  • The Violet Sisters

This beautiful play tells a dynamic story of two sisters so powerfully in its deeply rooted realism and intensely thrusts us into such a claustrophobic world of the duo at the heart of the story.
  • Ivories

This terrifying but propulsive and deeply psychological play captured my heart from the first word until the last. Between the three excellent and well-written characters, the refined and perfect pacing of the story, and its chilling climax, Ivories is one of the greatest new plays that has just as much bite as its bark. I would kill (maybe not literally) to see this on a stage one day, or maybe even on Broadway. This story and this playwright belongs there. Riley Elton McCarthy is extremely talented, we'll all know their name one day.
