I'm a playwright, singer-songwriter and classically trained guitarist based in the UK, with a passion for writing, music and singing. I've been writing for over three decades, which has included full length plays, short plays, monologues, poetry, 70 topical/satirical songs and comedy sketches (some co-written), and over 30 contemporary/folk songs. I have been writing more substantial pieces (longer than sketches) since 2016. I'm also presently involved in co-ordinating the writing group at the Abbey Theatre, St Albans, Herts., organising regular meetings to enable writers to read new material for constructive feedback, and assisting with rehearsed reading events.

From 16th November 2023 I will be self publishing Stuff Happens! and Other Plays, a (118 pages, professionally printed in 'easy to read' larger typeface) book of 4 of my humorous short plays and 2 monologues (which also includes what inspired me to write each one), to raise funds for the wonderful charity Healing Little Hearts, who carry out free life saving heart surgery on babies and children in the poorest parts of the world. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to them. To find out more and to order a copy, please visit: http://www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/stuffhappensandotherplays.
