Matthew Alan is a playwright and director, currently based in the vibrant state of Texas. His plays have been produced at Stephen F. Austin University, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and Texas Fringe Festival! In his work, he focuses on an idea of dehumanizing to humanize. Inspired by the In-Yer-Face movement, Matthew has driven towards the uncomfortable because that what he realizes the human experience is about.

As the town's population booms and businesses flourish, driven by the prospect of oil and wealth, the once abundant oil reserves eventually begin to dry up.
