The Brunch Crowd has the best vibes. I love how the characters play off of each other. The moments when they are all together feel fo vibrant. Especially in the final scene of the play. I enjoyed seeing the characters try and figure out things impacting the community and the world today. All in all, its an exciting play that I would love to see on stage eventually.

The kindness of strangers can be a valuable thing. "Can We Talk A While?" is an emotional play about two strangers who are desperate for some escape. Their charged emotions are almost palpable thanks to the terse dialogue. The backstories of the characters are relatable and make them sympathetic leads. Great work!

Unlucky is an exciting new play from Elizabeth Shannon. She did a great job of telling such a tense and interesting story. I love the characters that she's created. I could see this being produced by a university and doing well.

Ernesto's family is the beating heart of The Sign. It's heartbreaking watching the family fall apart resulting from a series of bad decisions from Ernesto. It is made all the more tragic with Ernesto's good intentions and high hopes.

I love a good period drama. The Eviction of Henry Harcourt tells an exciting story from a fascinating point in English History. Henry and Enoch are amazing roles. I'm sure veteran performers would love digging their teeth into them. The script deals with religious fundamentalism well, painting Enoch as a figured marred not by his disease, but by the twisted ideology that burrowed into his mind.

I don't often stumble across plays that excite me as much as SELF HELP ME did. Everything about this play just works. The character work is excellent. The dialogue dances the line between authenticity and satire beautifully. There are so many laugh out loud moments, but the play still manages to get a punch in at the end. It's an impressive play that this playwright should really be proud of.

High School Antigone is a clever take on a Greek Classic. The character work for the main players is amazing. I love how the script bounces between Antigone and Klass's original story. The two narratives bounce off of each other well. They're Whispering Reprise in particular is a well-crafted song with great layered vocals. I'd love to see this one on stage sometime.

Festivities is an exceptional holiday show. There are so many beautiful moments in this script. It was a joy watching the members of this new family try and navigate their new dynamics. The love the characters have for each other reads great. It beautifully captures the blending of cultures. If you're looking for some holiday spirit in an upcoming season, Festivities is a solid choice.

ESSENTIAL READING FOR THIS MOMENT IN HISTORY is just what the title claims it to be. Essential reading. Walsh really went to town when putting this play together. The characters are nuanced and interesting. The story is gripping, tragic, and darkly humorous. Eddie is the type of role that actors dream of.

DRIFTWOOD is a stunning exploration of the Wood family in a moment of crisis. Loftus has created some beautiful characters with a sprawling narrative.
