Max Kennel (He/him) is an award-winning playwright who is currently based in San Diego, CA. He is also a director, improvisational theater actor, photographer, screenwriter, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the Horror Writers Association. He recently acquired a BA in Theater Arts from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo with a minor in MAST (Media Arts, Society, and Technology. During his time at Cal Poly, Max directed and voice acted in a play he wrote titled, The Story of Jimmy Kaplingus for Cal Poly Theatre and Dance's annual student directed production for which he received awards for the script from the Kennedy Center and Cal Poly Arts.
