  • J.S. Puller: Weekend at Jimmy's: a Star Trek Parody

Honestly, I wish this had been an actual episode of Star Trek. Rogers writes a delightful parody, with a real sense of what we know and love (and hate) about the characters. Even the stage directions had me giggling. And this would work both in person, or as a radio play/Zoom event.

  • J.S. Puller: C.O.C.K. Therapy

I was predisposed to love this, seeing as David Marcus is one of my favorite Star Trek characters. The script did not disappoint! I was laughing all the way through. Loved all of the Trek references, the surprise ending was delightful.

  • J.S. Puller: Live on National Television

For audiences who don't know the story of the draft lottery, Tennant's script is a chilling, hauntingly beautiful introduction. Interwoven with actual footage, this is a powerful piece of theatre that feels like the story of a real, lived-in family.

  • J.S. Puller: Hidden Seashells: A Yoga Adventure

I had the privilege of seeing this show go up for a reading at the Old Miner's Contest in 2023. Sobeck Knighton's gentle and participatory approach to theatre for the very young was, and is, inspiring. It's an artful exploration of emotional intelligence, guaranteed to keep even the wiggliest of audience members engaged.

  • J.S. Puller: DUKE OF YORK

A strange and fascinating meditation on power dynamics, abuse, and obedience.

  • J.S. Puller: Winchester Geese

Smith has a remarkable ability to make these characters feel real and lived-in. In just a few pages, I feel I know their relationships. As they rage against their circumstances, their afterlife, their feelings for one another, I imagine a theatre absolutely trembling. This is such a perfect vehicle for powerful actors, waiting to take center stage.

  • J.S. Puller: The Juggler

This play is a delightful piece of theatrical candy. It appropriately spears the Batman rogue gallery, and makes excellent use of malapropisms. A lot of fun!

  • J.S. Puller: a seussified grindr date

The initial story seems simple to tell,
How Grindr dates never go so well.
But while the play begins with a laugh and a wink,
By the end it really makes you think.

  • J.S. Puller: Barbarian

The second I read the words "VIKING VAMPIRE FAITH CLASH" in the description, I immediately said "Yes, please" out loud. True story. This is a seriously ambitious ten-minute play. And I want more! I'm dying to see what becomes of Edmund. This feels like an amazing origin story that will leave audience members on the edges of their seats!

  • J.S. Puller: Next Year, Transformers! (Ten Minute)

I was instantly intrigued by the title of this piece, but it in no way prepared me for the emotional roller coaster of the next ten minutes. There were some great laughs, but more gasps and sad truths about family dynamics and just how complicated they can be. People will really relate to this piece.
