Pietro's tumble through the world is funny, earnest, and devastating by turns. Duncan balances the tonal shifts with pinpoint precision, and had me riveted from the first line to the very last. A wild, wise, and utterly delightful script.

A masterpiece and a tour-de-force. Boy My Greatness explores gender, desire, and performance with a degree of honesty and wisdom that took my breath away. The stories of these boy players, captured so perfectly at a precise moment in time, are brilliantly intertwined with the century-spanning words of Shakespeare; the effect is nothing less than extraordinary. I urge you to welcome this play onto your stage and into your heart. It will unquestionably remain there for a long, long time.

I had the delight of seeing this play at the BTC Queer Voices Festival, and I instantly fell in love with it. Its delightfully goofy vaudeville and slapstick comedy are skillfully grounded by a core of meaningful emotion and true-earned love - for the self, the body, the past, and the future. Garcia's writing had the audience in stitches, while also hitting us close to the heart. One of the best works I've seen in the past several years!
