  • CHASSEUR THE CAT (MONOLOGUE)
    7 Jan. 2023
As a cat lover and an actor, I found this piece so delightful! The transition from being irritated by feline shenanigans to "in love" with the furry creature is funny and purrrfectly rendered.
  • THE GREAT DIVIDE ( a one minute monologue)
    7 Jan. 2023
A tasty tidbit into the psyche of a woman who is on the outside, looking into a world that does not welcome her in. Her hunger, her lost dreams and her artists soul all shine through in this poetic, elegant 60 second piece.

TRUE COLORS indeed. Julie's play takes us on a ride, in the early days of the Pandemic when so much was uncertain but hoarding was a certain kind of reality. The journey this play takes the characters and the reader is one that resonates deeply for me, and what the author has to say at the end via the actions of Morgan makes me love this ten-minute gem of a play.

A lovely, well-crafted monologue that introduced me to Mabel Ping-Hua Lee! I did not know about Mabel a and contribution to the Suffragette movement (at age 16!) and was uplifted to meet her here. Lucy Wang crafts a monologue that shows us how Mabel's courage, passion and faith move her past her fears, while also reminding us that she is still so young.

Funny, smart, wise, witty and clever! With huge heart and terrific roles for actors. I'd LOVE to see this staged!
