Peele's CHILDREN OF GOD contains all the elements of a thought provoking study on ultra conservative communities using religion as a cudgel against their followers. While this play takes place on an isolated island, this story is relevant today with the proliferation of cults through out the United States and the world. For lovers of folk horror like the Wicker Man, you will find much to love in this play.
  • TOUCH THE MOON One Act Play, 3 Characters

A veiled retelling of the Natalee Holloway disappearance in Aruba. Deftly told and creatively staged. The writer managed to breathe some life to an already twice told tale with inventive staging and dramatic overlap.
  • Bonefruit

A nice slice of other world building. The idea of bone fruit and the story of the Beast meshed perfectly. This piece reminded me of the science fiction I read in the seventies like Andre Norton. Wish there had been more to see of this world.

The perfect formula for a entertaining ghost story. . . Poltergeist+Beetlejuice+Reservation Dogs with a little Smoke Signals for good measure. Great comedic bits help attenuate the length of the play. I was half expecting a guest appearance by the Deer Lady.

What's not the like? It's Lovecraft. . . Or Lovecraftian. A little Pickman's Model here and a little Rats In The Wall there with a dash of Poe to top it off.
