Really loved this hilarious riff on the drawing room comedies. Loved the conversation being had about Loved how openly queer this play is and how the characters see heterosexual marriages as a convenient way to get money. This play must be a blast to perform in. I could definitely see this play being really popular with colleges and community theatres.

Set in 1894, "Gin Mummy" is a delightful character-driven drawing room comedy with a contemporary sensibility. There are many laugh-out-loud scenes and the story continues to surprise you as it unfolds. I especially love the ending. Would love to see a full production!

A delightful, wry take on the turn-of-the-century romp. Sensuality is not confined to the straight and young, which means joy abounds in this script. It has all the satisfaction of wish fulfillment without taking the expected paths to get there. So fun!
