I saw this read at the Midwest Dramatists Conference. Such a lovely, intimate moment between two twins, one of whom is dying of cancer. Webb crafts affecting dialogue and a real relationship between these two characters. The final moments are heartbreaking. Check this out!

Ugh, this one broke me! So strong! This had fantastic character moments, an excellent relationship and a TON of heart. Plus, just the right amount of humor. This was a standout for me at the 2019 Midwest Dramatists Conference.

A poignant reflection of two siblings reaching a point of emotional maturity only in the final days of ones life. Webb deftly side-steps melodrama, and allows the relationship to remain unvarnished. Indeed, the smallest of gestures in this script are the ones that carry the most emotional heft: A covert joint between conspiring loved ones, a hint of knowledge of eachother's guilty secrets. We are left with the wonder of the compassion and friendship these two could have had if sickness hadn't claimed one of them. A wistful, sweet and sad piece.

This play is a straight up punch to your feelings. Webb captures an important moment between two siblings who are finally beginning to negotiate their final goodbye. Webb keeps us laughing and stays true to the sibling relationship while also reminding us that no one ever really knows how to say goodbye or grieve someone who is still with us. Looking forward to seeing more from this writer.

This is a beautiful and heart felt play about the love and unspoken grieving between siblings. It's powerful in its imagery and in what goes unsaid--and the awkwardness of how to approach something that you can't even wrap your head around is so beautiful captured in this brief but emotional powerhouse of a play! Check out everything by this playwright! She's one to be watched!

This play hits you like a ton of bricks. Webb manages to wrench at this awful situation with humor and sibling connection, making it all the more devastating to read. BURIED would put an entire audience in tears. I especially enjoy how much is left in between the lines for us to discover, it's clear that Webb trusts both her actors and her audience, and it's really payed off. All in all, a great ten-minute play.

What a wonderful play for teenagers. There is so much real, genuine dialogue between these twins--so much unspoken history, so much personality and humor, and so much love. The script is so intimate, I felt like I was invading on something. I would love to see this on stage. A great two-hander for competitions, and a wonderful addition to any night of ten-minute plays. No surprise why it was selected for OOB.

The emotional density of the dialog is impressive. Heartbreaking from beginning to end. A perfect 10-minute for two actors. I can see this being produced all over the country and the world. Highly recommended. I look forward to reading other work by Audrey Webb.
