Pure delight from start to finish. Lam's voice is so fantastic in this piece--and it's funny and poignant and smart and everything that a great romcom should be. Wildly original and full of all kinds sweet sci-fi, this play is bound to be an audience pleaser. I can see this being performed at tons of ten minute play festivals, and probably winning audience favorite in nearly all of them. Lam is a gifted playwright--and I look forward to exploring more of his work.

A sweet, funny sci-fi romp with a wonderfully tender side. Lam’s set up is amazingly specific and his pay off is fantastically charming. And don’t let the sci-fi scare you off, Interventions is rooted in the kind of real-world experiences that makes science fiction so wonderful. A delight.

Missed this at Midwest Dramatists (we were back to back). As a sci fi aficionado, I love it. But it's also tightly written, and funny! So even if sci fi is not your thing, you'll love the romance.

Oh, wow, this one was fun -- but still thought-provoking. Sort of a shorter, funnier, LGBT-ier Back to the Future. The playwright does a great job working in five (yes, five!) very distinct voices into this short piece. The sci-fi themes don't overwhelm, instead letting the focus fall on the humor and the human relations.

A hilarious yet ultimately tender piece wherein a couple are visited again and again by time travelers with a dire message about the decisions made by the couple and the consequences that follow. You'll find yourself laughing at the lines and wondering what new message each time traveler will bring with each decision made. Greg Lam is able to take weighty questions that would usually require a lot of emotional commitment from the actors and gives us a smile to go with those questions. It's a lovely play that deserves many productions and new audiences to delight in the words.
