I just wanted to add my appreciation and praise to this amazing ten minute piece. A look at high school longing, love, and connection with a deeply intersectional focus and gets all of the nuances of its wonderful characters write. Pipes has created a perfect 10-minute piece that speaks such volumes in its short runtime.

This is an amazing play! I'm glad there's some GNC and Pan representation in plays that isn't misconstruing what either of those things is. As a reader, I was deeply invested in both these character's lives, and I kept wanting more. It's a bittersweet thing to see that these characters both love walking in heels, but are forced to do so in a storage closet. It makes me wonder if they ended up going to prom together and if they did so while wearing heels!

This is a beautifully written play. It's a nice take on high school crushes and their mutual pining, with a conflict not often seen in media. The humor is endearing and the ending parallel to another story was simply perfect!

Oh my gosh, I love this play. It transports you right back to high school and all that angst, but it is also sweet and simple in the best ways. A perfect piece of theater for high school students and all of us.

The assumptions we make about what we should want when the more supportive partner could come in a different form. Beautifully done.

I'm absolutely in love with STILETTO ENVY. It's sweet, it's sad, it's funny: it's really a perfect ten-minute play.

There was beautiful representation throughout the entirety of the play. I was invested and captivated in both characters and their loving relationship towards one another. It was heartfelt and related to what teenagers can feel and go through.

This play was especially poignant to me, having been in high school at the same time Shaun and Melanie were. A beautiful if tragic understanding of teen queerness in 2014 that's still relevant today.

This is an interesting take on a coming out story. The exploration of issues that many face today really brings to light what others experience.

This story really captures the reality of our generation's division. Teenagers care so much about feeling normal and accepted that "being different" always puts something at stake. A phenomenal and relatable play!
