“
This premise is so absolutely ridiculous and yet so poignant. It's a classic who's-the-real-monster with a delightful Kafkaesque twist (and very self aware of it). I want so desperately to see this on a stage. Pynn has really made something just ridiculously funny, disgusting, and touching. ”

“
It begins with a couple trying to get rid of a cockroach and then goes places you'd never expect. This play, which could've been just a silly take off on The Metamorphosis, is instead, at turns, smart, funny, sweet, and sad. The writing is full of wit, imagination, and empathy, and very much worth the read. ”

“
What a fun, wonderful surprise this play was. I, COCKROACH is romantic and sweet and horrifying and smart. I love the riffs on Kafka. On the surface, this is a fun romp, but it also honors the sanctity of life in an utterly original way. Totally loved it. ”
