A dismal, otherwise ordinary day turns out wonderfully. This was a fun piece.

Such a wonderful play. There is so much warmth and history between two extremely funny characters. I just adore the way that O'Grady writes--there is so much tenderness, humor, and truth in this play. Her characters and plays never cease to make me feel comforted and safe--and this play is sure to warm anyone's heart on a cold wintery evening. The play ends with everyone knowing these two people intimately--and they are all the better for it. Merry Christmas indeed.

A sweet ten-minute Christmas play highlighting friendship and how the holiday season isn’t the best time of year for everyone. I enjoyed the give and take and negotiations over food and how well developed the friendship is within the few pages of the play. Would be a great addition to any holiday night of shorts, especially one looking for something not too sentimental, but that still has a ton of heart.

Jennifer O'Grady has crafted a nice portrait of friendship that remains strong even during rough times: no plans for Christmas, not much food in the cupboard, no job prospects and even questioning why friends are friends to begin with. Most Wonderful would be a terrific addition to holiday- and Christmas-themed festivals and productions.

Off-beat twist on the old tradition of stringing popcorn on the Christmas tree. A very gentle and humorous play from O'Grady. Definitely better than most plays about actors/acting/theatre - heartfelt and a tad sentimental - in a good way. Nice dialogue, too. One of my favorites: "Oh, look: Keira Knightley is taking more of our jobs away."
