Rachel Bublitz tells a powerful story that keeps you interested while also raising awareness about the real dangers of climate change. By the end of the play, it really makes you think differently about how we treat our planet. Even though the themes are serious, the strong relationships between the teens and their families help balance the heavier moments. The characters feel real and relatable, which makes the message even more impactful. Overall, it’s an important and meaningful play that I would definitely recommend.

Red Days presents an innovative remark on crisis and the health of our planet. A social commentary with science-fiction elements, the play spins moral dilemma and empathic characters together to create a cautionary tale that calls for action and provokes thought. What cause is too large to fight for? Bublitz proposes this question (among many others) in a gripping story that left me in both alarm and hope. Excellent work.

Red Days is a wonderful play creating commentary on where the world is heading, that is becoming more and more relevant every day. Red Days raises awareness about climate change and where we may end up if we continue going on this trajectory. It also uses the dialogue to teach and encourage people with small things that can make a big difference. It makes you really reflect on our world today and what it could become.
