How much would I love a veterans hall for theatre people? Yes! We HAVE been through a war! A war for ART! This short is absolutely delightful and if you've ever hung out late at a cast party trading stories, it will tickle your funny bone! Bravo!

While no community theatre will admit this is them, I suspect a lot of backstage snickers. I have an abiding love of local theatre and Floyd-Priskorn deftly portrays their charms.

I've never understood what compels some actors to go from theatre to theatre playing the same role in the same play over and over and over. After reading Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn's Veterans of Community Theatre, I still don't understand them, but at least I got to laugh at them. Three community theatre regulars admit a normal person into their midst and the results are hilarious with a streak of bittersweet truth.

This play feels very true to life to every small time production I've been a part of. Lots of bravado,some hilarious showboating, and of course the lovable oddball who's very alluring but deeply strange. Funny and true.

This painfully true to life comedy is exceptionally funny. Every bad cast party ever is distilled into ten hilarious minutes. Each character is vivid in their own way and their collisions lead to a glorious payoff.
