There is so much to love about this play. The fact that the writer has taken a funny & original idea to create the play in the first place. Or the fact that he's created brilliantly witty characters to tell the story for you so well that you can see it, even though you can't see it. But for me the brilliance lies in the back and forth jump between being behind and peering over the '4th wall' when the characters discuss the play they are involved in, those lines had me laughing out loud!

This play was a great reprieve from taking medical issues seriously. Very fun!

JOHN BUSSER’s Play, “Ugly Doctor Hospital”, is a radio play with a lot of humor, fun characters, and the pure joy of knowing all will end well even if it doesn’t. I truly love thIs comedy piece and look forward to being one of the characters in an upcoming performance.

Just had the privilege of being a part of a Zoom reading of this piece, complete with sound effects! This play is so meta and so funny! Busser's script is proof that actors don't need to be seen if the writing is this strong! I admit, I was one of those unsure about "audio dramas" and how well they would play. I am now a convert and want to "hear" more! Especially from this playwright!

An absolute RIOT of a radio play, John Busser takes the form and genre and lovingly slaps it across the face with sound effects, quips, gags, and enough meta references to require one hell of a handsome universal donor. No matter what the characters in the play tell you, this is one writer who knows EXACTLY how to write an amazing radio play.
