  • Glenn Morehouse Olson: 100 Things I Never Said To You

In my high school, we have lost a dozen students in the past 2 years to accidents, suicide, and medical issues. This play really hit home for a community who is reeling from loss. What an honest way to deal with grief and loss and the reality of missing someone. As always, Adam's poignant, sometimes funny, sometimes quirky voice comes through while navigating the unspeakable tragedy of loss through the teen-aged lens.

  • Claudia Haas: 100 Things I Never Said To You

Poignant, funny, and specific, Szymkowicz captures teenspeak beautifully at a time when speaking is difficult. While we get a sense of who Julie was, we also get a nuanced look at all of the characters. The remembrances are so specific, we can figure out their relationship to Julie and their relationship to themselves.

A beautiful and moving tribute to one who went too soon with too much to give. Well done.
