This is a delight! Kantor's bright dialogue sails through sticky topics with veracity and ferocious glee. Oh! How much I want this play in educational settings as a place to begin conversations. A perfect playground for actors and directors, with places for invention at every dynamic angle. Brilliant!

I love this piece. "Hot Blood Sundae" takes dialogue that seems to be about something (STIs) and makes it about something else (Lycanthropy). It's clever, it's real, it's as raw as the steaks the characters are going to get when the show ends (and then ice cream). The pace is quick without feeling like too much is happening, and the characters are fun to watch/read. I would pay good money to see this live, and it would be great for any theatre company or pair of actors to preform.

Take a difficult subject, add in some squeamish lines, then some fast-paced dialogue and you have an excellent two hander by Kantor. I love the vegan who wants to eat a cow, just so long as it's blindfolded! Wonderful, albeit dark and animalistic, fun!

I love Aly Kantor’s dialogue! This short is a fantastic two-hander about two young women waiting for test results, and their situation feels like the perfect metaphor for the real-life situation many (most?) girls find themselves in, where they’re told they have to be one way, subdued and restrained, but they really want to rage and scream and not conform to the expectations/demands of others. I love this so much.

Well THAT escalated quickly! What a ride we're taken on, as two very sexually frustrated women voice (or maybe howl) those frustrations and decide to embrace their inner beasts. Addressing everything from body image, diet hassles, sexual wants versus sexual gets, this piece says some very smart things while wrapped up in a horror story. Well worth your time.

Two women tap into their rage at sexual exploitation, body image, diets and general patriarchal bullshit. The dialogue is fast paced, full of humor and surprise. It all builds to a howl of liberation achieved in a most unexpected way.

A ton of fun for two actresses! The final reveal is worth the wait. Would be a great piece in an evening of Halloween themed shorts!

As a hard core carnivore, I care deeply for these seaweed-considering young women who are stuck in the patriarchal hell of No Potatoes. And this play is hilarious. And this play thrills me with desire and howling. Great theatrical language! LOVE!
