I saw this performed live at Veteran's Rep a week ago and it was hilarious! The actors were frenzied and the story line was madcap farce all the way. Nice twists and turns! Brava!

The biggest shock that came to me while reading this is 'why didn't I write this first?,' however I knew it couldn't be my work from the brilliance in it's writing. Melissa Milich does a phenomenal job with this farce. The plot twist at the end is wonderful and sure to give all audience members a hoot and a holler. Well done!

Milich excels in delivering dark comedy, creating an engaging and entertaining experience. The use of versatile characters and unexpected twists adds to its appeal.

This is a fun one! A little bit of Vaudeville peppered with some gallows humor makes for a good time.

So much fun to execute (HA) this face paced and physical play! A great ensemble piece that will have audiences laughing and actors scrambling to be cast in this short satire!

Charlie is the type of person you probably wouldn't want to mess with. Human Remains is an adventure. Lavonia and Ethelbert's trials with trying to get their previous homeowner's inheritance are funny and snappy. The various workers that stumble upon them would be a role any comic actor would love.

Fun short piece about neighbors who seem to have been tricked by "Charlie" in order to have his remains buried. Good role for an actor who plays several parts while all the while whistling a familiar tune.

What a fun ride. Melissa Milich has written a wonderful short play full of escalation, unique characters, and has put plenty at stake. There’s plenty of situational comedy mixed in with dark humor to keep you wildly entertained. Excellent play.

From the moment I read the character's names I couldn't help but smile at this piece because they are simply fabulous character names. During this wonderful ten-minute piece you, as an audience member get to watch Ethelbert and Lavonia go through the most bizarre and extraordinary journey that starts with a box of remains being delivered! It's a piece that will keep you guessing and with those guesses come the giggles. It's a wonderfully paced fun piece that won't fail to make an audience laugh, I know it did me!
