Consider my heart strings very much pulled! Morey has created a beautiful and witty piece that depicts (for me at least) what holidays should truly be about, love, making memories and sharing them with people who make you happy. This play is a gift that keeps giving, starting with the witty back and forth before guiding you to a beautifully timed heartfelt finish. Its a piece that can't fail to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling, while at the same time offering two great characters for older performers. Another wonderful piece from Morey.

Norkin has created a lively play for senior actors filled with heart, romance, and delightful banter. It's a celebration of the past and an invitation to make the most of the present. Holiday festivals should leap at this one.

This holiday short is the perfect comedic vehicle for two high-octane hambones (or the kosher equivalent) over 70! It is full of laugh-out-loud, blink-and-you-miss-it zingers. As silly as it is, there is some genuine heart and emotion at the center of this little Hanukkah love story - and even the hint that another Hanukkah love story might be kindling. The dialogue is the star of the show, so even a barebones production would sing on stage. I am sure audiences would fall in love with this new Hanukkah classic!

Oh this is such a sweet and beautiful play! What great characters to play off of each other and really show off a range in emotions. This is not your typical holiday play, and you should definitely add it to your holiday program! I absolutely adore both Irv and Sheila and I am so glad they have each other to make it through the 8th night together.

To trigger a myriad of emotions, you can't go much further from a note or card from a recently lost loved one.
This is a beautiful little two hander with Moreys trademark subtle humour.
Both characters are truly believable, as is their relationship, so I do believe one of Irv's late wife's wishes just might come true.
Poignant and excellent.
