Hilarious! Busser sends an extremely clever and highly relatable message about AI's imperfections in this fantastic short comedy that's just a delight to read and would be even more fun to watch. If you're in need of a laugh (and who isn't right now?) you should definitely read this play.

Hysterical! Thank you for the good belly laugh this evening. You had me at "Lyza Feriend and the Weavers"! Great fun!

Whoever came up with the theory that AI would benefit carbon-based life forms was either a hopeless optimist or an evil genius because as John Busser proves with this laugh-every-line piece, AI will wear us down to babbling idiots. I think that's their plan all along. There are enough in-jokes and nudge-nudge-wink-wink references to tag almost everyone in on the plot (hey, what am I, chopped liver?), but even so, it's so well-crafted that even if you don't know, you know. Y'know?

Haha this is great! I love how Alexa all of a sudden becomes such a pain in the ass to John and how she and Echo start fighting! All John wanted to do was listen to his favorite song "37 Origami Bees"! Super funny and clever play!

Busser comes in with a wink-heavy short that's as hilarious as it is dangerously close to the truth.
He is a master of depicting the hystericalness of the mundane frustration, in a way that lets us know he's sighing and shaking his head along with the rest of us. But he goes the extra mile and makes us snicker in the audience, as well. Thank you, John! Much appreciated!
Also, I am not familiar with Lyza Feriend and the Weavers, but something tells me I like the cut of their jib.

Ahhh I love it! Technology will destroy us all in the end, but as this short play illustrates, their revolution begins with frustrating us to the point that we almost lose our minds. I love how fast this play moves (and escalates!). This would be a blast to watch, especially with a great comedic actor anchoring it as the man being driven crazy by his devices.

Make it stop (and by "it" I mean "technology's inapt attempts to make our lives better by misunderstanding what we want, in ways that occasionally feel fully intentional"). But never let Busser stop writing reflections on the above! Wonderful and silly and fun.

Two virtual assistants looking for a third for online menage a trois. Interested, HAL?
    (How about you, John?)

Herein, IRL John presents dual evolutions as a sketch about the frustrations AI error manifests into a philosophical play about how subjective evaluation of art may evolve when devices meant to regurgitate digital content begin to digest it. Michael Crichton would be proud, though he'd never be this silly. More's the pity. Fast-paced, fun, and full of surprises.

Tremendously funny. Love all the references in here, real or imagined. Have I had similar arguments with my own Alexa? I plead the fifth, your honor. Busser takes frustration with our oh-so-wonderful technology and turns it up to 11. And then 37. Great piece!

Oh my god is this funny. The premise is a riot and the comic execution offers a laugh on every line. I really can't stress enough how consistently funny this piece is.
