A deeply chilling two minutes. It isn’t normal that a play like this is necessary, but I’ll keep boosting its signal until NOT needing it becomes our country’s new normal... if that day will ever come.

Sometimes we need fire to burn up all our angry fuel. Take to the page, the stage, the social media and let loose. This play feels good in an angry heart. A wonderful “what if” scenario that aims at our nation’s failings when it comes to gun legislation.

I will share this. This message needs to be delivered. Thank you for writing this. It’s a sad world where it feels like our only recourse is to write about a preventable tragedy.

You know with Sickles you will get something different and something unique. It's one of the reason I return to his work again and again. This horrifying and terrifying play will be a gut punch to everyone and should be required reading for anyone who wants to end this continued and now just accepted assaults on our children at schools. This isn't a new normal or any normal that should be accepted. Wake up!

You can't believe what you're seeing and hearing and then there's more. This short play tackles our "gun problem" in a unique, eye opening way. Shudder.

How on earth do you explain to children that our government won't take action to protect them for the sake of preserving the gun industry? A perfect capture of the world we live in and why children are understandably living in fear. Well done.

Brilliant, moving, achingly real. I long for a day this play becomes irrelevant; until then, produce it again and again and again.
