Horror is my favorite genre because it opens a viewer to explore a new and different world that often breaks the law of reality. In breaking those laws, we can have a deeper conversation about the real and legitimate issues that we face as a society today. Though, I don't think that my plays are particularly scary, rather explore a normalcy and new understanding of a complex world and issue. Often, they are quite sweet. Regardless, every play I write is both weird and memorable.
