Leroy Hood is a playwright, screenwriter, actor, voiceover artist, and stand up comedian from Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Texas Christian University in 2016 with a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting. As a playwright, his plays and short plays have been produced at theaters and universities across the country. Most recently, his play The Shuddering Goat was produced off-off broadway as a part of T. Schreiber’s Wake Up! Festival and was also awarded Best Production at ASU’s Theatre Fringe Festival. His works have also received numerous staged readings, including a live virtual performance of his play Helping of Blood with Dale Dickey (Breaking Bad, Justified) in the lead role.
