My plays are multicultural and inclusive, and always include a Latino/e point of view (stories about identity, heritage and culture); they also actively give voice to experiences not often seen through Latino/e bodies. The work is about visibility and representation. To show that our lives are complex and diverse even within our own community.

As far as style, I’m often told my work is gentle, earnest, and restrained. Because of this, I also like to jokingly describe my work as Mexikovian.
